On Lampworketc.com, I am part of a few exhanges. One is called "You Pick". The people in the group pick a picture they would like beads based on, and everyone makes a bead for each person. I've been busy trying to complete that, and a bracelet exchange. I can't post the bracelet picture until the person receives it...but I can post the "You Pick" beads.
So far I'm pretty happy with what I've come up with (I need to make 16 total beads, yowza!), and they're all pretty much focal size. The puzzle piece is for someone who chose an Autism Awareness ribbon for their picture, awesome, right?
Below are some of the other beads for the exchange...
All in all, I'm happy and think the folks in my group will be too. Or so I hope.
I have a ton of pictures to edit and post on Etsy. I need to measure, write descriptions, and we'll be off and running. Very time consuming, but so exciting!
For now, I need to work on the torch for a bit, I have a few more beads to make. Will post my progress and be able to discuss the bead releases that I've been trying out. Also bought a riveting tool and should be able to share my experience as to the awesomeness or lack thereof.
